Directions: Southwyck Lake Park is located 1 block South of FM 518 (aka Broadway) between County Road 90 and County Road 89 (aka Old Chocolate Bayou).
Race Day Parking: Available at 9330 Broadway (FM 518) just past County Road 90 on your right. Note there is a short 10 minute walk to the Southwyck Lake from the parking lot.
Times: Race start is at 7 AM. Body marking opens at 5:30 AM. Transition opens at 5:30 AM and closes at 6:30 AM. The event is USAT sanctioned and chip timing will be provided by Atomic Racing.
Entry Fees: $75 Individuals and $130 Relays. No transfers and no refunds of entry fees will be given.

Note: A valid Photo ID and USAT Membership Card (or purchase of a one day racing license) is required at packet pickup. You must pick up your own packet. All members of a relay team must come to packet pickup and show a valid photo and USAT membership card (or purchase a one day racing license for $10).

Open Water Swim Wave Starts - Participants are required to:

Wear the swim cap provided to each participant at packet pickup.

Step across the timing mat with your wave in accordance with the event swim safety plan.

Start the race at the designated wave start time-no exceptions please.

Open Water Swim and Wetsuit Demo Clinic:
Free to registered participants, Saturday, May 15th, 2010, 1-2 pm, Southwyck Lake Park. Note: You must be registered for the Silverlake Tri to participate in the swim clinic. If you need to register on-site for the triathlon before the swim clinic on Saturday May 15th, be at onsite registration at the Southwyck Lake Park by 12 noon Saturday May 15th to allow 1 hour to complete registration before the swim clinic starts at 1 PM. Wear your swimsuits and bring your wetsuits with you. No changing area is available at the Lake Park. Thanks for your cooperation! |
